This poster juxtaposes the text of a how-to manual with the life of a tenor banjo to produce an unfolding narrative of self-experience and process. This autobiographical walk-through slowly unveils the history of the banjo and the burden of this heirloom. An accompanying video loops actual footage of my lessons learned.
